Warning: I'm going to use the word 'lovely' a lot because, well, this IS quite lovely. Simple melodies and occasional low tempo beats combine to create a pot-pourri of gently scented, breezy, dry loveliness. The Garden may have a fool in it but he/she is having a lovely time. It is mid-afternoon, sunny and nothing is going to disturb the lazy ambience today. … and relax! An album of self-assured beauty.

Hats off to Bureau B. Wonderful repress. The vinyl is flawless and the mastering is clearly from the original tapes and of extremely good quality. All that for a very reasonable price... If only more record companies had the same ethics...

Well music-wise this is a beautifully done reissue, this album is quite lovely. A quirky combination of spacy electronics, acoustic instruments, musique concrete and even a bit of perfectly fuzzed out electric guitar, all in Roedelius' rather unique style. Though you'd never know it to look at the reissue, the guys at Captain Trip (presumably tripping on something) decided to change the artwork a bit. When I say change, I of course mean along the lines of an appallingly hideous mutation. I don't know why, the original cover was nice. So don't let appearances fool you, this is prime 70's Roedelius.
