Anyone who has bought this, can you comment on quality? I had a bootleg of Odelay, and it was excellent. Why Geffen don't just pull their thumb out their ass and do a re-press, I dunno.
I'm happy with this pressing... I was expecting garbage when I realized it was a bootleg but it sounds pretty darn good to me... One thing to note is Diamond Bollocks has been moved to the end of side A in order to fit the album on one record... The original pressing was 2xLP @ 45 rpm and contained Diamond Bollocks on Side C and Runners Dial Zero on Side D... So you would have to flip discs an extra time and the second record only contained 2 tracks... However, it was 45rpm and probably sounded excellent (never had the opportunity to hear)... Come to think of it, the odd track arrangement may have something to do with the delay on a repress... It might make more sense to space the tracks out differently but in the original order @45rpm... Purists may disagree, I know. ????
