Great pressing of a classic album. The liner notes are worth a read and the vinyl looks awesome.
Nightscar
Excellent pressing, the sound really comes alive on a good system. The packaging is great also, with extensive liner notes. A totally different experience compared with streaming, as vinyl should be.

I think that everyone that claims to love music should listen to this album at least once in their life.

The Books continue their collapsing of musical genres with THE LEMON OF PINK, which creates an entirely new form: glitch-folk. The banjo that permeates the first part of the title track sounds so wrong, it’s right, especially set against a cut-up musical collage that features a plaintive—and seemingly improvised—vocal and soothing strings that start to screech in the second part. “Tokyo” doesn’t sound vaguely Japanese unless you count the vocal sample; instead, you have layers of strings, plucked, bowed, and snipped apart. “Take Time” is pieced together jauntily, defiantly refusing to make any sense at all, while “Don’t Even Sing About It” is content to have bits of the blues drifting through. There’s a bit of meandering in “A True Story of a Story of True Love” beyond the title, but piecemeal approach to music seems to suit this album, especially when things come together, like on the upbeat “That Right Ain’t Shit.” And, believe it or not, “PS” makes manages to make a statement out of awkward inarticulation.
